11 years sharing knowledge
One Anniversary more. Hypatia Congratulations!

Over these 11 years we have witnessed the growth of Hypatia in the number of pages, and in its important circulation and diversity in content.
     This copy is number 42 and through which we celebrate another anniversary; we increased the print run to 18 thousand copies.
     Who would have thought that today Hypatia would have 6 times the circulation with which we began in 2001? This has been achieved due to the significant contribution made by the State Government through the Council of Science and Technology of the State of Morelos covering the total economic resource to edit this product, thus addressing the request of our universe of readers in the State.
     It might seem easy to start a publishing project of this type, that magically emerges with just a flicker. But I, who have been at the forefront of Hypatia for 11 years, can tell that this is not the case; it is hard work to gather information, proofread, research, to coordinate, to be creative and to fulfill certain administrative policies. One has to be stress tolerant to meet all eventualities.
     But all that is forgotten once the printed product is in your hands, when you check the content page by page, recognizing the distinctive graphic design, praised the vast majority of times and criticized a few. But the greatest satisfaction is when you learn that young people have used the material to solve tasks, that researchers have been contacted through the electronic Hypatia magazine www.hypatia.morelos.gob.mxt to impart both national and international conferences; that the material published has sparked interest in entrepreneurs, that teachers of neighboring schools come for their copies to use when teaching; that articles from Hypatia have been quoted in sections of books, on websites, in newspapers, and on radio and finally that we have been invited to discuss this product in several places in the country and young students of communication are able to write credited sections.
     That is our reward, the reason for our commitment to continue growing and to reinvent the ways you read the magazine and to change the appearance of the former- like when we published the magazine in 3D for our 10th Anniversary.
     So today, 11 years on, I would like to take this editorial space to thank our readers, our critics, our wonderful staff, the media and the great team at Hypatia for the many contributions they have given us with comments, recommendations, time and dedication.
